CIRP believes in inspiring and actively encouraging individuals to continuously improve themselves and to contribute positively to the community through their achievements. We are committed to support  young men and women who have the potential to become change makers in their communities , positively touching thousands of lives with their contribution to the world.

CIRP Change Maker Scholarship Program was introduced in 2018 with the objective  of further empowering those who dare to dream and has successfully supported hundreds of students over the years. Change-makers scholarship program recognizes the different talents and achievements of individuals and encourages them to continue their passions throughout university life. CIRP also hopes to attract students with diverse talents to study at the university, further  increasing the vibrant nature of its student population.

Change-maker scholarships are awarded to both Sri Lankan and International students. Scholarships are available for Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs and the number of scholarships are announced for every intake by the scholarship committee.

Scholarships are awarded under four main categories recognizing different achievements of Sri Lankan youth. Including aspects other than academic achievements is one of the key significance of the Change-maker scholarship program making it inclusive, recognizing the diverse skills and achievements  of the students.

Scholarships are allocated to fields of study including Psychology, Business, Medical & Health Sciences, Hospitality, Art & Design, Fashion, Law and Early Childhood Education.

Students applying for British Bachelor’s degree courses offered at CIRP in collaboration with University of Greater Manchester, UK and the International Foundation Diploma courses awarded in collaboration with NCC UK are eligible for the scholarships. In addition, a certain number of scholarships are also allocated for the Transfer Degree programs offered by CIRP in partnership with Edith Cowan University Australia, Victoria University of Wellington New Zealand and a range of different UK universities. Considering the number of scholarships granted and the financial value of the scholarships, CIRP Change-maker scholarship program is one of the leading scholarship programs in Sri Lanka.
