ECU – CIRP Psychology Pathway
CIRP in collaboration with ECU offers a unique opportunity for Sri Lankan students to obtain a degree from an internationally reputed Australian University through an economical and an expedited path. CIRP students who complete their Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology (DHEP) or a variation are eligible to enter the second or the Final Years of the Bachelor of Psychology degree offered at ECU Australia.
Based on your secondary school qualifications, we offer a range of options through the transfer pathway.
For Student’s After A/L
Student with good A/L results could join the DHEP offered by CIRP and completed either one year or two years before they transfer to ECU, Australia.
Option 1
You can complete the 1st year modules of the DHEP (8 CIRP modules) and enter the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at ECU. This is considered the 1+2 option, as you will study One (01) year at CIRP and Two years in Australia.
Option 2
You can complete the 2 year DHEP (16 CIRP modules) and enter the Final year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at ECU. This is considered the 2+1 option, as you will study Two (02) years at CIRP and One year in Australia.
For Students After O/L
Students with good O/L results could join the CIRP international Foundation in Psychology and enter the CIRP-ECU Transfer Pathway
Option 3
You can complete the Foundation Programs and the 1st year modules of the DHEP (8 CIRP modules) and enter the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at ECU. This is considered the 2+2 option, as you will study One (02) years at CIRP and Two (02) years in Australia.
Option 2
You can complete the Foundation Programs and the 2 year DHEP (16 CIRP modules) and enter the Final year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at ECU. This is considered the 3+1 option, as you will study Two (03) years at CIRP and One (01) year in Australia.

Entry Requirements
Â
Given below are the Minimum eligibility criteria for the CIRP programs of the transfer pathway. Entry criteria, application process and the requirements to obtain a student visa for the transfer requires fulfillment of a range of other requirements. All students who wish to enroll in to a transfer program MUST arrange a face to face meeting with the student advisors at CIRP International Office along with their Parents/Guardian or Sponsor to understand the requirements before registering for the transfer program.
Standard Entry for CIRP International Foundation
Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination
Standard Entry for CIRP DHEP Programs
Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination or a Foundation Diploma awarded by a Recognized Awarding Body
Language Requirements
A high proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English is essential to successfully complete this program. Student will be assessed for their language proficiency at the time of enrollment.
